A Fond Farewell...
The SLPC family got together after worship service on Sunday, Aug. 29 to bid farewell to Don and Nancy Davis at a breakfast buffet at the Spring Lake Country Club. Thank you Rev. Davis for your most generous donation to the SLPC food pantry.
Committee Meetings to Begin
Committee meetings begin this month. Please let the office know of any changes in meeting dates or times, otherwise, they will be scheduled on the church calendars and website the same as they were last year.
Your Help is Needed
SLPC is a praying church. We need your help to pray for those in need. Volunteers are needed to become part of the Prayer Circle. Please call Dori and let her know if you would be willing to help with the emergent prayers of your church members, family and friends.

Either Rev. Barbara or Phil will be in the church office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of every week from 9:00 a.m. until noon. They would be pleased to have you drop by and say hello or to seek their help and confidence on any issue you would care to share. If you would need them at any other time for emergency support, you may call their cell phone 24 hours a day. That number is 863-227-2638. (When dialing this number, it is essential you always dial the 863 area code!)
